Fittingly, the RAAF F1-11 that sliced through the night sky in an awesome display of explosive power, heralded the beginning of both Brisbane’s Riverfire Festival and, coincidentally, Maxam Australia’s 21st birthday party. It was a night to remember, a riot of colour and celebratory sound.
Smartly dressed guests to the Maxam function gathered at Joseph Alexanders where, in the pleasantly-relaxed yet elegant surrounds, they enjoyed champagne, wine and beer and an endless supply of snacks. Proud of its heritage and its accomplishments, Maxam had invited customers, suppliers and their partners to join its business managers and head office staff to celebrate twenty one years of phenomenal growth in Australia.
Before he cut the birthday cake, Managing Director German Morales paid eloquent tribute to the Maxam staff right around the country, praising them for their exemplary commitment and hard work. He also used the occasion to thank the assembled business partners for their support and loyalty. Also present at this very congenial occasion was the previous Managing Director Xavier Montaner and his wife Megan.
By all accounts, it was a grand occasion with much merriment and laughter. The general consensus is that now Maxam has officially come of age, the company is likely to take off like a F1-11, blazing trails of glory!
